Copenhagen Open 2024 (English)

In 2024 the Copenhagen Open will be arranged for the 12th time, and we look forward to welcome you on 15-16th June.
The Copenhagen Open is a meeting for athletes at all levels from the beginner to the athlete competing at international championships. And that is the background for why we have Denmark's widest selection of events, so there is plenty of opportunity to make a club trip to Copenhagen Open. We are looking forward to see a stadium full of life, happy people and lots of athletics!
- Events:
- 180 different events for both youth an adult athletes, find more information in the invitation
- Registration no later than monday 3th June by using special Excel registration sheet. Only one registration per club. Starting fee is 70 DKK per event for youth up to 15 years of age, and 95 DKK per event for 16 years of age and older. Late registration is possible against a double fee.
- Accomodation: There will be several possibilities from hostels to campsites and hotels.
- It is possible to buy various food and beverages in Café CphOpen at the 100m start.
- SB will determine the seeding, and we will accept last SB correction documentations received by Thursday 13th June 6.00 PM. As organizers, we will have the right to adjust the seeding if we find it more sportingly fair.
- There will be special Copenhagen Open medals for all athletes up to the age of 9, the 6 best in all events up to the age of 11, and for the top 3 from 12 years and older.

- 18th June: Thanks to everyone for a really good athletics weekend, where, despite Saturday's rain, 25 new Meeting Records and a total of 1,500 results were recorded. We look forward to seeing you again in 2025, where we expect the dates to be 14th and 15th June.
- 13th June: Competition info is now available.
- 13th June: We have decided that all girls 15 are jumping in one big group Saturday at 10.00.
- 12th June: Some skilled throwers at international level have registered, so for safety and operational reasons the individual groups in the javelin and hammer throw have been switched around on Saturday afternoon.
- 6th June: The final time schedule is now ready. It will be some long days at the stadium with events taking place from 10-18.15 Saturday and 9-17.30 Sunday.
- 4th June: The deadline for registration has passed and 51 clubs from 11 different countries are participating, going through 1,472 starters. And then it should also be said, that there are representatives from a further 9 countries on the various club teams, so a total of 20 different countries are represented at this year's Copenhagen Open.The largest club is not unexpectedly Sparta with a total of 365 starters.See the participant lists on imars.dk, where 100 and 200m for men are not unexpectedly the most popular events with respectively 60 and 54 participants.There will be something to look forward to
